FAQ
Here you will find the most frequently asked questions.
How many valves do I need to control the saw?
You can control the saw (motor+cylinder) with a double-acting valve. For this, you will also need the micro-throttle valve and the pressure control valve from our shop. Both can be found under Saw Accessories. With these two valves, you can adjust the swivel speed (oil quantity) and the swivel force (oil pressure). The micro-throttle valve is designed to be very small so that the flow rate can be finely adjusted. The pressure control valve is adjustable between 10 and 60 bar and only changes the pressure behind the valve, so that the pressure at the motor is not affected.
Do I need to connect a leakage oil line?
The Cumaster Basic motors do not require a leak oil line to be connected. Motors with a leak oil line are only supplied upon request. The Cutmaster Speed motors require a leak oil line.
How do I get the user manual?
The operating instructions and further technical documents for the corresponding products will be sent to you automatically by email after your order.
Can I operate the screener attachment with any excavator?
The Siebmaster models are divided into 3 sizes to optimally suit every excavator size. The Siebmasters differ in size, weight, and drive ratio.
Is the screen on the screen master easy to change?
The screen drum can be swapped in about 10 minutes. When you order the shovel, you'll receive an illustrated quick guide for changing the drum via email, in addition to the operating instructions.
What are the shipping or freight costs?
Shipping costs vary depending on the contents of your shopping cart. They are calculated by weight and will be displayed during the ordering process once you have entered your shipping address. Parcel-sized items are shipped with DHL. Anything too heavy or too large for parcel shipping will be sent by freight forwarder on a pallet.
Why do I need to provide my phone number when ordering?
The telephone number is important for freight forwarding deliveries, as private individuals almost always require telephone notification from the forwarding agent. We will never use it for telemarketing calls or similar purposes.
What do I need to do in case of transport damage?
It can certainly happen that an item delivered by us arrives damaged. We ask you to proceed as follows: For parcel shipments: Should you discover transport damage upon delivery, have the driver record it in writing. Please then send us pictures of the damage to info@m-hombach.de so that we can process your complaint as quickly as possible. For deliveries by forwarding agent: As soon as the delivery is made, please inspect the outer packaging and, if necessary, the goods for damage before signing and have any damage counter-signed by the driver on the delivery note or delivery receipt. Please then send us pictures of the damage to info@m-hombach.de. This will allow us to assert any claims for damages against the forwarding agent.
